The judge sat upon his throne, so solemn in his long grey wig,
worry creased his brow, "This case is really BIG!",
"It has to be sorted now, a judgement made for ever more",
"I am here to decide finally...who is the brightest of them all?"

The moon stood up first, looming in that big legal place,
"I am the brightest here...for I shine from outer space!",
The sun's turn came up next, trying to impress the judge,
"I have the most sparkle, without me the world it would not budge!"

The ocean simply smiled "Get thee to thine grave!"
"It is I that shines the most...I have a glisten in every wave!",
The rainbow then stood up, oh so awesome to behold,
"It is I that shines the most...for I have a pot of gold!"

The rainstorm bellowed loudly "You cannot outshine me!",
"with lightning I set fire...to each and every tree!",
The judge just shook his head "I don't know what to do!",
"and I haven't even heard the testimony...of a lawn of shining dew!"

The courtroom was in an uproar, newsmen scuffled upon the floor,
that poor old judge was quaking, he was shaken to his very core,
Suddenly the court door blew wide open, and bounced against the wall,
awed silence descended slowly, upon that great big hall...

Into the room she shone so gorgeous, early morning light like a wondrous sigh,
the men all blushed bright ruddy, they let out a wistful cry,
Her breath was softest velvet, her sparkle carried upon the air,
her smile was purest gold, and she laughed without a care

Everything paled before her, the sun, the moon, and the sea,
the rainbow looked quite plain, thunder was as quiet as quiet can be,
" I have made my decision!!!", a voice from across the court,
the judge stood upon a pedestal, like a turret upon a fort

"SHE has to be the winner, that answer is plain to see",
"No one can outshine her, it is so obviously clear to me!!",
Morning light smiled once again, she knew she had won the day,
"Nothing as spectacular as me...I captivate in every way!"
